Transgender toddlers treated at Duke, UNC, and ECU (Education First Alliance)
Given the speed at which Duke and UNC have tried to deny the evidence that the activists running their “gender clinics” are willing to support transitioning toddlers, I think they realize this is really not a good look. Dr. Deanna Adkins, who runs the Duke Center for Child and Adolescent Gender Care has “transgender patients as young as 2”, according to an interview with the Charlotte Observer in 2016. Since the EFA article was published this week, UNC has removed a webpage admitting that their Psychiatry Gender Equity and Wellness Initiative provides “gender affirming treatment” for patients as young as four years old:
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide coordinated evidence-based care for gender diverse individuals ages 4-30 years and their families exploring or undergoing gender affirming treatment in the state of North Carolina and the local Southeast region.
