Coronavirus Pandemic Subcommittee alleges FBI interest in UNC/COVID origins public records requests
In a letter sent to FBI Director Christopher Wray by the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic claims that an FBI agent has been in communication with UNC virologist Dr. Ralph Baric, including about the "substance of the origin debate" and UNC's response to public records requests. The letter requests an in-person interview with the FBI Special Agent who was in communication with Baric.
At least some of those COVID-19 origins related public records requests were perhaps filed by US Right to Know, who is currently involved in a lawsuit over records which UNC has refused to turn over in response to the organization's requests:
In addition, multiple sources claim that the subcommittee conducted a transcribed interview with Dr. Baric, which will be released "at a later date".
