Another pair of illegal aliens have been charged over grooming/kidnapping a pair of sisters (14 & 15-years-old) who were reported missing from their Clayton home after their parents found a note saying they left with "some guys they met."
Ericson Leonel Ullo-Flores, 18, and Edwin Alberto Cardenas, 22, were arrested at their Daytona Beach home, where local police found the sisters:

Ullo-Flores and Cardenas are currently being held in Volusia Co. Jail without bond awaiting extradition to North Carolina (although not mentioned by the mainstream media, both are listed as "illegal immigrant/alien" on the jail's website).
This follows at least four similar incidents earlier this year in neighboring NC counties:
February: 15-year-old girl from Harnett County, 2 men charged
February: 15-year-old girl from Chatham County, 2 illegals charged
April: 14-year-old girl from Lee County, 1 illegal charged

Correction: Illegal aliens kidnapped mother and baby from Garner for $1 million ransom, police say
Docs reveal possible motive behind Garner kidnapping of woman, baby; Suspects now in federal court - ABC11
In last week's issue, I noted that two of the three individuals arrested in connection to a home invasion and kidnapping of a mother and child from Garner were reported to be illegal aliens with ICE detainers, but I missed the fact that the third arrestee, Eleodoro Estrada-Hernandez, had also already been identified as an illegal immigrant in a statement by FBI Director Kash Patel:
BREAKING out of @FBICharlotte: This morning, our Agents arrested an individual Eleodoro "Leo" Estrada-Hernandez in connection with the kidnapping of a young mother and her baby in North Carolina on Monday night.
Our agents and partners acted incredibly quickly in this case. Within 24 hours of the reported kidnapping, they arrested two suspects - and Estrada-Hernandez is now the third. He is an illegal immigrant who had been previously deported, now facing multiple state charges.
Most importantly, I'm thankful to report both the mother and baby were found safely Tuesday morning.
Thank you to our agents, intelligence teams, and local partners @GarnerPolice and @SBI1937 for quick action. Outstanding work. pic.twitter.com/rmZInYyJV3

RDU airline agents "terminated" after viral video captures unprofessional behavior

Frontier Airlines contractors terminated after heated exchange with passenger at RDU airport - ABC11
On cam: Employee mocks RDU passenger at Frontier Airlines check-in counter - WRAL
A video captured at the RDU airport made the rounds of the internet this week after a passenger shared his contentious encounter with Frontier Airlines gate agents who refused to check him in after he made a rude comment about the airline charging him a $25 check-in fee for arriving only 50 minutes early for his flight.
The gate agents responded by pulling out their phones to film him as he was repeatedly taunted with "you thought you was gonna get on your flight."
Frontier Airlines informed ABC11 that "the employees, who work for a third-party contractor, are no longer associated with the Frontier account."
ICYMI: UNC encampment arrests review (one year later)
Last year, UNC-Chapel Hill made national news when the police dispersed the "Triangle Gaza Solidarity Encampment" which had taken over a portion of the campus and made a reported thirty-six arrests, leading to a day of chaos, flag-defending, antifa antics etc.
Although mass arrests attract a lot of immediate attention, the figures in the headlines don't necessarily convey the actual level of legal consequences suffered by the arrestees, with can range from having their charges completely immediately dismissed to the fullest prosecution under the law.
For the one year anniversary of this particular mass arrest, I went back and did a little review and analysis of these cases and their outcomes (21 diversion agreements, 13 dismissed for evidentiary reasons):
One Year Later: review and analysis of UNC pro-Palestine encampment arrests

Woman charged with carrying firearm into legislative building
Raw milk advocate charged with carrying a concealed weapon into NC legislative building - WRAL
Lorena Marie Allan, 40, was charged Wednesday with violating legislative building rules and illegally carrying a concealed handgun after the building's security checkpoint reportedly discovered a Smith and Wesson M&P Bodyguard .380 handgun in her possession.
Allan, a homesteader from Randolph County, appears to have been at the legislature along with fellow raw milk advocates who were at the General Assembly in relation to attempts by legislators and Agricultural Commissioner Steve Troxler to restrict its already severely limited sale.
Although the limited information available in this case does not include evidence of motive, a significant number of North Carolinians are caught inadvertently bringing firearms through security screenings every year, such as Garner native and country music singer Scotty McCreery who received a citation in 2018 for bringing a handgun into RDU. (There were a total of 89 firearms caught by the TSA at the airport last year).
State troopers accused of orchestrating coverup after pursuit subject fatally crashed

Warrants: Trooper denied chasing Raleigh driver who died in October crash - ABC11
According to recently revealed warrants, North Carolina State Highway Patrol Sergeant Matthew Morrison advised his subordinate Trooper Garret Macario to lie to Raleigh Police about the fact that he had attempted to stop the vehicle of Tyrone Mason in the early morning hours of October 7, 2024 immediately before Mason fatally crashed.
The probably cause affidavit states that Macario's bodycam captured a conversation with Morrison shortly after the wreck, in which Morrison asked Macario if he had called in the traffic stop; when Macario responded that he had not, Morrison allegedly "told [him] not to tell responding Raleigh Police Department Officers that he tried to stop Mason before the traffic accident."
Macario followed this advice, according to the affidavit, telling the responding police officers that he had not attempted to pull Mason over, and that he "came up on the wreck" after it had already happened.
Macario and Morrison are currently on administrative leave, and Wake County District Attorney has dismissed approximately 180 cases the troopers were involved in based on the discovered perfidy.

Educators in Wake County push for no-cuts to budget, stage walk-in at high school - ABC11
On Tuesday, the Wake County chapter of the North Carolina Association of Educators organized nearly a dozen "walk-in" protests at Wake County schools ahead of the school board meeting, including at Enloe Magnet High School with what appears to be at least dozens of participants:
The union was protesting against cuts in the Wake County Board of Education's proposed budget for 2025-2026, which includes some cuts despite a total nominal increase in the budget requested from the board of commissioners of $40 million, which is a real increase of approximately $19 million when taking into account inflation.
One of the cuts opposed by the union, is a reduction of the proposed 3% increase in the teachers' local salary supplement to only 1.5%. Although nominally a raise, an annual salary increase of 1.5% is in fact a pay cut, as it is lower than the annual rate of inflation.
Writers protest "banned words" used by Trump admin to identify leftist activism in bureaucracy
NC writers protest the Trump administration’s purging of words it doesn’t like - N&O
On Monday, 30 "writers and educators" organized by a group called the Writers for Democratic Action gathered outside of the Capitol to protest the Trump administration's flagging of woke shibboleths in communication and grants by the federal government, such as "pregnant person" or "intersectionality."
The writers and educators seem to believe that the lack of federal support for their leftist ideologies is actually "banning [] thoughts, ideas and beliefs" in violation of the First Amendment.
The protest was ironically interrupted by a black man with a megaphone who accused the woke protesters of stealing land from the Indians.
